I tried making it for a lactose intolerant friend with all vegan cheddar cheese. It was okay but not that great. I just made it for myself with the Gouda and Swiss; it was really good. I’m not much of a baker so I really like the ease of using a frozen pie crust.

Thanks, Doug! I am so happy that you liked it. Those frozen crusts do make things easier.

I followed the recipe and the filling was too much for the crust.. Will try using less broccoli and onions next time.
It was delicious

I cannot wait to try your version. I use swiss cheese, ham, and broccoli. Next time I will try it with onions. My mom told me that my Italian grandmother made something like this and called it meat pie. I never had it but I am sure it was delicious.

Thanks so much Maddy! That is very sweet of you! Thanks for sharing the story about your Grandmother.

Can you make without pie crust so it could be completely Leto?
Beth Pierce
Yes you most certainly but grease the pie plate well.

A friend who was going out of town gave me a dozen eggs so I went looking for a ham and broccoli quiche and came across this recipe. It was delicious! The caramelized onions give it such good flavor. I used cheddar because that was what I had, but I will definitely try it with the swiss and Gouda next time. My two boys ate it up and my husband, who loves quiche, said it was very good. This is a keeper for sure!

Beth Pierce
Yes bring to room temperature, cover quiche with aluminum foil and bake in an oven heated to 325 degrees for about 10-15 minutes.
Linda
