I made this vegan (TVP instead of ground beef, no cheese). The entire family loved it. I will be making it again!

Brown ground beef. Add onion and garlic. And drain excess fat from the skillet.

Add paprika, onion powder, cayenne, brown sugar, tomato sauce, beef broth and rice. Simmer.

Heat olive oil. Add cabbage and top with ground beef. Sprinkle with cheese.

Cover casserole with foil. And bake until cheese is lightly brown.

This easy casserole brings all the delicious flavors of cabbage rolls together with a lot less time and effort.
