Blend the cream cheese, sugar, lemon juice, egg yolk, and vanilla extract. Set aside.

Open the crescent roll dough and separate. Pinch the perforations closed. Cut the dough. Twist each end in the opposite direction. Lay them in a spiral on a prepared baking sheet.

Press down the center of each one to create a little well. Scoop the cream cheese mixture into the wells.

Prepare egg wash, then brush it on the exposed dough. Bake, then let cool. Prepare vanilla icing, then drizzle over the pastries.
