With just six easy ingredients and five minutes, you, too, can have the tastiest, most refreshing Banana Daiquiri ever. This indulgent treat is easy enough to prepare for friends and always gets rave reviews. It is one of our favorite blended cocktails.
Hubby and I love to spoil our guests with mouthwatering, good mixed cocktails. Is there any better way to catch up than over some scrumptious, frosty adult beverages? Raspberry Margaritas, Strawberry Daiquiri, Pineapple Margaritas, and this recipe are just a few of our go-to spring and summer entertaining cocktails.
How to make a Banana Daiquiri
Mixing this daiquiri could not be easier. Add the bananas, coconut milk, lime juice, sugar, rum, and ice to a blender. Then, blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and garnish with lime twists, maraschino cherries, or banana slices.
Do you have to add coconut milk?
I know some of you do not like coconut. Hubby and I love it, and we think it adds a nice flavor to this drink, but if you are a no-go coconut person, omit it. You can also cut the amount of rum down and add a few tablespoons of triple sec for a little bit of an orange twist.
Can you make a daiquiri without a blender?
Blenders are an asset to a well-rounded bar. They are inexpensive and helpful for many other recipes like this orange Julius and mango smoothie. However, with a little extra effort, you can still enjoy this frozen daiquiri without a blender. Using a fork or old-fashioned potato masher, mash the bananas until fairly smooth. Add the ice to a large plastic bag and beat with a rubber mallet or rolling pin. Add the mashed bananas and the remaining ingredients to the plastic bag with the ice. Shake well to combine and chill the ingredients. Pour the daiquiri mix into a glass, garnish, and enjoy.

I’m drinking it now. Want a bananas was ripe and I had froze it a few days. Previous, the other banana was medium right. Right. Right now I’m in Mexico so they are local and very good. The limes I use or the little Mexican key limes exactly two tablespoons of juice. Maybe it’s the coconut milk I used was on sweetened, and I did put it into tablespoons of raw sugar. Sugar. I didn’t have any white rum so I use Captain Morgan spice rum. All in all, it’s a nice cocktail but it needs to be a little sweeter. I think. Next time I think I’d wait till the bananas were more on the blacker side and thus sweeter. The other thing would be less lime juice. Next time I’ll go with one tablespoon. And maybe a tablespoon or two of cream of coconut. But it was nice. Thanks for the recipe.
