Ingredients Needed
This recipe only requires four ingredients: milk, bananas, ground cinnamon, and pure vanilla extract.
How to make Banana Milk
Recipes don’t get any easier than this. Add the milk, banana, cinnamon, and vanilla to a blender and blend until smooth. Then, serve promptly. You can split the recipe in half and make it just for one or double it for four.
Recipe Tips
- The riper the banana, the sweeter the milk, and the greater the banana flavor, so use up those old ones sitting on the counter with brown spots.
- For best results, use ice-cold milk.
- Whole milk tastes the best with this, but you can use 2% or skim milk. Almond milk, soy milk, goat milk, cashew milk, coconut milk, or oat milk are all great dairy-free options.
- This delicious milk does not need added sugar; if you must, use just a touch of maple syrup or honey.
- For a thicker ice-cold milk treat, freeze the banana chunks for about 2 hours.
Storage
This is best served as soon as it is blended to avoid separation. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Shake well before serving.
