Boom Boom Sauce is a slightly spicy slightly sweet mayonnaise based chili sauce. This is one of my favorite dipping sauces! It is incredibly easy to prepare and it takes less than five minutes. Plus it can be prepared up to several days in advance, placed in airtight container and stored in the refrigerator.
It makes a great dipping sauce for so many things but I love to serve it with Beer Battered Onion Rings, Coconut Chicken, and Sweet Potato Fries. It is a fun sauce that my guests always rant and rave about.
What is Boom Boom Sauce
It is a slightly spicy slightly sweet mayonnaise based chili sauce. In really simple terms it is spiced up mayonnaise and the main spice is sweet chili sauce. This an excellent dipping sauce for fried foods, Japanese or Chinese cuisine, or even as a sandwich or wrap spread. You and your family are going to love it!
Do you have anyone in your family that just loves dipping sauces? In my family I am that person. To me a good sauce can make or break a meal. Have you tried any of my other sauces? This sauce, Yum Yum Sauce, Southern Comeback Sauce, and Copycat Chick Fil A Sauce are just a few of my favorites.

YUMMY!!!
I made this sauce for some waygu burgers and seasoned fries for dinner tonight. Excellent doesn’t even come close to the taste. I am NOT a fan of spicey foods, but there’s just a tiny hint of the sirracha taste. Perfect imo.
Thanks again! 35yr cook, bbq and smoker. I like to recreate foods at home vs spending $$$ eating out.

Thanks, Ken! I am so glad that you enjoyed the sauce! We love it too!

Love this recipe. I use a light mayo and sugar free ketchup for a tiny bit of a healthier version and you can’t tell the difference!
Beth Pierce
Thanks, Chris! So glad that you enjoy it. Thanks for the tips!

Boom Boom shrimp tacos. Deelish!
Amy
I made this recipe for a seafood night. I opted to use hot chili paste instead of the siraucha sauce because my family loves spicy foods. This was a win win for the family and they requested more. I will make again. Thanks a bunch
Beth Pierce
Thanks Amy! So glad that you and your family like the sauce!
