Make this delectable five-minute Caramel Frappuccino and skip those long coffee lines. You can indulge in one of your favorite coffee treats in your home at just a fraction of the cost of those expensive coffee shops. With the perfect balance of sweetness, they taste even better than Starbucks.
Do you know anyone who loves a good frappuccino? This is my daughter’s favorite Starbucks drink. There is nothing better than a creamy frozen iced coffee treat. You can whip up this delectable creamy frappe in the morning or as an after-dinner treat.
My daughter and I love creamy coffee drinks year-round. For this caramel frappuccino, we used the new Green Mountain Caramel Vanilla Cream, but you can use any strong-brewed coffee or espresso. These super-easy treats contain five ingredients and can be whipped up in the blender in less than five minutes. If you are speedy, you should be able to complete it in about three minutes.
How to Make a Caramel Frappucino
In a blender, combine the ice, cooled coffee, and milk. Blend the ingredients on high for about one minute while you drizzle in 1-2 tablespoons of caramel syrup. Finally, pour the mixture into two small mugs or one large one and top with whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel sauce.
How to set up a Frappucino Bar
These frappuccinos are so easy that even a small crowd is not out of the question. Wouldn’t it be fun to set up a frozen coffee bar? You could do flavors like dark chocolate, mocha, strawberries and cream, and mint chocolate chips.
For ease, store the whipped cream in ice buckets and include various flavored syrups to match your frappuccinos. You could even supply Baileys, Kahlua, and Rumchata for the adults.
Recipe Tips
- Strong-brewed coffee works with this, including an espresso, instant coffee, or your favorite dark blend.
- Brewing the coffee in advance and chilling it in the fridge is best.
- For a caffeine-free version, use decaffeinated coffee.
Frequently Asked Questions
Whole milk works best with this recipe, but you can use 2% or even skim. Non-dairy milk like oat, soy, almond, cashew, and coconut milk also work well.
Make coffee ice cubes in the old-style ice cube trays for a more robust coffee flavor. It is a little more work, but for the true coffee enthusiast, it keeps the beverage from being watered down.
