This naan pizza is a fun, easy, and quick tasty lunch or dinner recipe that takes less than 15 minutes to make and the whole family enjoys it. Customize the pizza to everyone’s personal preferences and use what you have available in the fridge. The crust cooks up with a slightly crispy texture on the outside and soft and tender on the inside.
Customize these delicious individual pizzas to suit your taste with a variety of cooked meats, veggies, and shredded cheeses. The possibilities are endless making them ideal for small groups.
How to make naan pizzas
Start by prebaking the crust to crisp it up a little bit. Then simply spread with a little bit of pizza sauce and sprinkle with a little cheese, your desired toppings, and a little more cheese. Bake for about 5-7 minutes or until the cheese is melted and lightly browned. Top with some chopped fresh basil, freshly grated Parmesan Cheese, or red pepper flakes.
Helpful tips
Pre-bake the naan – to keep the crust crispy after putting on sauce and toppings simply bake the bread in the oven right on the rack for about 3 minutes. Then add your sauce and toppings.
Use a flavorful pizza sauce – I really like Rao’s Homemade Pizza Sauce and Classico Fire Roasted Pizza Sauce but any flavorful sauce will work.
Top with cooked meats – these pizzas cook very fast so hamburger, sausage, bacon and any other meat toppings should be precooked.
Cook some vegetable toppings first – some vegetables need a jump start in the cooking arena like asparagus, broccoli, cauliflower, eggplant, and squash
Pizza toppings for naan bread
- Sauces – pesto, alfredo, salsa, olive oil and garlic, ranch dressing, curry
- Meats – sausage, ground beef, pepperoni, bacon, ham, grilled chicken
- Veggies – onions, mushrooms, bell peppers, jalapenos, banana peppers, spinach
- Fruit – olives, tomatoes, artichoke hearts, eggplant, zucchini

I never heard of naan pizza before and had to look it up. Is it better for you than a cauliflower crust pizza? Pizza is my favorite and my weakness! Thanks for sharing this awesome recipe!!!

Awesome recipe. I am making this on Saturday. My grandson will be staying over this weekend and he is my little pizza monster. I am sure he’ll love helping me make a naan pizza and eating his “creation” afterwards.
