This mouthwatering good six ingredient Southern Comeback Sauce lives up to its name. It will keep you coming back time and time again for more. It is a delicious condiment, but I also love to serve it as a dipping sauce with Beer Battered Onion Rings with Dipping Sauce and Air Fryer Chicken Wings (3 ways).
If you have never had this southern sauce, then I can assure you that you must try it. It takes less than five minutes to mix up, and it is delicious with fries, onion rings, chicken fingers, beer battered fish, fried shrimp, cocktail shrimp, fried green beans, and quesadillas. However, it really needs to come with a disclaimer that once you taste it, you will be addicted. This tasty sauce originated at a Greek restaurant named The Rotisserie in Jackson, Mississippi, as the house dressing.
How do you make Southern Comeback Sauce?
It really does not get any easier than this. Just grab a medium bowl and whisk together the mayonnaise, chili sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire Sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, and honey. Did you mean 1 Tablespoon of hot sauce? That sounds like a lot.
Beth Pierce
Yes but you can cut back and add more if you like later.

Mayo disperses a lot of the heat. I remember trying to make a mayo based wing sauce at a restaurant a long time ago, and it took a lot of Sambal Oelek and Sriracha to make it very spicy.
