I’ve tried lots of shrimp and grits and I really enjoyed this one!

Bring the water to a boil; add the grits and salt and cook until tender. Remove from heat, stir in butter, cream, and cheddar cheese.

Cook bacon until crispy and chop once cooled. Add shrimp to bacon grease and sprinkle with Cajun seasoning and cayenne pepper.

Add vegetable oil to the skillet. Then, add red pepper, green onions, garlic, and chicken broth.

Return shrimp and bacon to the skillet and heat. Spoon shrimp mixture over cheesy grits. And serve immediately.
