This easy Shrimp Fried Rice is lightly seasoned with ginger and garlic and full of carrots, peas, green onions, and fresh shrimp. Make this delicious, better-than-takeout fried rice at home for a simple and delicious dinner!

Toss the dried shrimp with Chinese Five Spice. Cook the shrimp on both sides in vegetable oil. Then, plate and cover.

Cook the chopped carrots in vegetable oil, followed by the peas, garlic, ginger, and green onions.

Push the veggies to the side of the pan. Add eggs and cook to scramble. Remove to a plate and cover.

Working in batches, add some cold rice and sprinkle with soy sauce. Cook, plate, and cover. Then, bring everything back to the skillet and heat. Season with salt and pepper, then serve.
