These scrumptious and easy Southern Collard Greens are the perfect side for all your favorite southern main courses like fried catfish, hamburger steak, fried chicken, and smothered pork chops!

Cook the bacon, followed by the onion, then the garlic.

Add the collard greens and cook. Add the chicken broth, apple cider vinegar, sugar, and seasonings. Cover and simmer. Drain or remove most of the liquid. Season with salt and pepper, and serve.
