Whipped Pumpkin Butter takes ten minutes to make and is the perfect complement to all your fall sweet breads, yeast rolls, pancakes and waffles. Pumpkin Butter is a treat the whole family can enjoy!
This scrumptious fall butter is such a treat. It is so easy to whip up with a mixer. It has six ingredients and comes together in less than ten minutes. It pipes well and is such a fabulous treat for your Thanksgiving table. It is delicious lathered over fresh yeast rolls, pumpkin bread, cornbread, buttermilk pancakes and homemade waffles.
How to make Whipped Pumpkin Butter Recipe
First using a mixer beat the butter until light and creamy. Add the pumpkin puree one tablespoon at a time while you are beating the butter. Slowly add the honey, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. The objective is to keep whipping the butter while you are adding the ingredients so it stays light and fluffy. You can then pipe it on individual plates or in to serving bowls.
How to make beautiful butter pats
Grab a cookie sheet and cover it with wax paper. Fit a decorating bag with a large piping tip and fill the bag with pumpkin butter. Pipe about a tablespoon of butter per pat. Practice makes perfect as my late mother used to say. Don’t worry if you mess up just throw the butter back in the bag and try again. Refrigerate the butter pats on the cookie sheet until firm. When ready to serve slide a thin spatula underneath the pats to gently remove them. Set them on the roll plates about thirty minutes prior to eating so they soften a little bit.
