This fun and easy Cookie Dough Dip takes less than ten minutes to make and is sure to be the hit at your next party. It has all the great flavor of homemade cookie dough in a no-bake dip. I love to take this tasty dip to family reunions, potlucks and neighborhood socials. Serve with pretzels for a sweet and salty combo or with fresh fruit for a colorful display.
Family and friends just love it when I serve this delectable treat. It is like cookie dough without the raw eggs and raw flour. I love to serve this as a sweet treat at my shindigs with Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings, Mini Corn Dogs, Potato Skins and Crab Dip. What do you like to serve at your parties? I bet you have a few favorite desserts, appetizers, and snacks. I mean honestly who doesn’t?
How to make Cookie Dough Dip
It really does not get much easier than this. First using a stand mixer with paddle attachment or a hand mixer beat the cream cheese and butter until it is smooth and creamy. This may take several minutes. Then blend in the brown sugar, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Next remove the mixer and stir in the mini chocolate chips. Finally scoop the dip into a bowl and serve with assorted cookies, pretzels or fresh fruit.
Recipe notes and tips
- For best results use full fat cream cheese and real cream butter.
- Don’t forget to offer pretzels as the salty sweet combination really hits it out of the ballpark.
- This dip can be made up to 3 days in advance.
- Mini chocolate chips work best in this dough but if not available you can substitute the full size chips. Semi-sweet chocolate chips, dark chocolate chips, and milk chocolate chips all taste great in this recipe.
- Please refrigerate the dip until ready to serve and refrigerate any leftovers in an airtight container. This dough should not be left out for more than about 2 hours.
